The Sóma Linen Shirt: crafted in high quality 100% linen. The fabric is breathable and durable. Cool in summer and soft in winter. Naturally biodegradable and recyclable. A staple in your wardrobe, designed to be worn and loved for years. Designed in Manchester, and made in Cape Town by a non-profit CMT, empowering local women.

THE FIT

Relaxed fit. Take your usual size - intended for a slightly loose fit. Model is 5’7” and wears size S/ UK8.

Long sleeved with a single button and regular cuff. Cuffs, button stand and collar interfaced for structure. Double pleat across yoke. Shoulders dropped slightly.

MATERIALS AND CARE

100% Laundered linen from Europe. OEKO-TEX® certified (free from harmful chemicals and gentle on skin). Made in Cape Town. Linen is pre-washed, to prevent any shrinkage.

Good for people with sensitive skin because natural fibres trap less heat and moisture than polyester-heavy fabrics.

Care

Machine wash at 30°C or below on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent. Air dry on a hanger after washing to maintain shape and reduce creasing. Avoid tumble drying. Ironing is optional due to the natural, relaxed texture of linen. For a more pressed finish, iron with medium heat and steam. To minimise wrinkles, we recommend storing on a hanger/ rolling in stead of folding.
